K. Alex Schneider
Dallas Independent School District Police Department
A native of North Carolina, Jon Sofley received his Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice (2003) and a Masters of Public Affairs (2005) from Western Carolina University. Upon graduation, Jon moved to Texas and accepted a job with the Austin Police Department where he worked in the Southwest, Central West, and Downtown area commands during his tenure. In 2010, Jon accepted a position with the Dallas Independent School District Police Department to create a Crime Analysis and Planning position where he is planner, analyst, and custodian of records for the department to name a few of his duties. When he's not working, Jon enjoys seeing new and classic movies, gardening, traveling and spending time with his family which includes his only child, a rescued bull mastiff mixed breed dog names Sarge. Sarge's hobbies include sleeping, playing, laying on the couch, and drooling everywhere as protects the house from cats and squirrels.
Rowlett Police Department
Janet Hyltin has been with the Rowlett Police Department since May 2009. She began her career in the Warrant Division and in 2015 transferred to CID. She has taken on many "hats" with intelligence gathering being her favorite. In 2017, the City of Rowlett was named he 8th fastest growing city in the United States, prompting the agency's need for a full-time analyst. Since 2019, Janet began creating the analyst position from the ground up and continues to learn new things every single day. Her husband is a retired police officer and they enjoy wine tasting, traveling, and spending time with family (not necessarily in that order).
Montgomery County Sheriff's Office
Clausen received her Bachelor Degree in Psychology (2012) from Texas State University and a Masters of Criminology and Criminal Justice (2014) from San Houston State University. Upon graduation, she began her career as a volunteer Crime Analyst for the Rosenberg Police Department. In the fall of 2015, she joined the Montgomery County Sheriff's office where she has served as an intelligence analyst for the Narcotics Taskforce, the Gang Intelligence Unit, and the Real Time Crime Center.
Waco Police Department
Angie McCallister has been in the law enforcement field since 2004. She began her career in the field of forensic science after graduating from Baylor University where she worked as a Crime Scene Investigator at the Greensboro (NC) Police Department and the Waco Police Department. After sifting through the aftermath of crime scenes, she jumped at the opportunity to be proactive in fighting crime when the Waco Police Department added two Crime Analyst positions. Her background and working knowledge of Waco imparts added value in helping offer the community an enhanced quality of life.
Office Jason Claire
Midland Police Department
Officer Claire has 15 years of law enforcement experience with the Midland Police Department. He began his career in the Telephone Response Unit and was Interim Supervisor of the Unit until he joined the Permian Basin Law Enforcement Academy in 2008. Officer Claire was then assigned to Patrol from 2008-2015. in 2015, he joined the Directed Patrol Team, a unit tasked with: gang intelligence and suppression, responding to major incidents, and providing investigative assistance to local and federal agencies.
